"Towards Animation"
Saturday 22 of January to 20 of February 2005. An exhibition in the Cafe Bar in connection with the animation festival 2005. The exhibition showed illustrations and work done in connection with animation.

October / November 2004:



Exhibition:
Saturday 23rd of October to 21st of November 2004
Solo exhibition at The Newspaper Illustrators House in Drøbak, Norway. The exhibition will include drawings and print, mainly from 'Page 4 Saturdays' and in the 'Sunday Magazine', Dagbladet.

November 2004:

Exhibition:
From 6th of November 2004 at the Bower Ashton Campus, Bristol
Gunnlaug was one of the winners of this years storyboard competition.
The other winner was the illustrator/animator Chris Corner from Whitby. The winners and the twenty runners up storyboards from the competition was exhibited at the University Of West England's campus Bower Ashton, Bristol.

Images 28:
Gunnlaug has one image in this years book as well, Images 28, from Association Of Illustrators. The book will be published in June 2004.

Contact 20:
She has also a page in the Contact Book that was published in April 2004.

Norwegian Illustration 2004:
One page in this years Grafill's contact book, called Norwegian Illustration 2004. This book will be published in May/June,

The Big Book Of Illustration Ideas:
The book is published of the 27.12 DESIGN LTD. in New York City. The book can be bought if you contact the company. The book was published in January 2004.

August 2004:

The exhibition includes all this years entries to the annual book.

September 2004:
Festival: Friday 3rd to 5th of September
Exhibition: Friday 3rd to 19th of September
Arranged by The Newspaper Illustrators House in Drøbak, Norway. The festival and the exhibition includes a major part of the Norwegian newspaper illustrators.

Mars 2004:
Gunnlaug won a place at the Bristol School Of Animation. The course is starting 28th of June and ends at the 10th of September 2004. The storyboards from the competition are going to be exhibited at the University Of West England's campus Bower Ashton, Bristol. The course are supported by the Bristol animation studios.

From April 2004:
Gunnlaug has been commissioned to weekly illustrate for the new Sunday Magazine, that are going to be a part of the newspaper from Sunday the 18th of April. She is doing illustrations for text written by the authors Selma Lønning Aarø and Morten Sangvik. The articles are a spin off on the regular Saturday articles in the newspaper.

February 2004:

In February Gunnlaug was invited to Dublin, Ireland, to teach at The ARK, a cultural center for children. She was teaching with the Ark's team Children's Book Illustration for 4 to 8 year olds for a week. She met some fantastic children and grown ups, at this lovely project that lasted for five weeks and included five illustrators. Some of the books are shown on the Ark's website.
